Data released by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers today (the 10th) shows that in the first half of this year, multiple economic indicators of China's automotive industry all achieved double-digit growth year-on-year.

This year, China has implemented a more proactive and effective macro policy, and the overall economic operation has remained stable. From January to June, the auto market maintained a good momentum, with both production and sales exceeding 15 million units, achieving a relatively high growth rate of over 10% year-on-year.

Among them, the production and sales of new energy vehicles reached 6.968 million and 6.937 million units respectively, increasing by 41.4% and 40.3% year-on-year. The sales of new energy vehicles accounted for 44.3% of the total sales of new vehicles.

In terms of exports, from January to June this year, the total number of automobiles exported was 3.083 million, representing a year-on-year increase of 10.4%.

Among them, 1.06 million new energy vehicles were exported, up by 75.2% year-on-year. A relevant official from the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers said that specifically, the domestic market improved significantly under the continuous effect of the policy of trading in old vehicles for new ones, with a year-on-year growth rate of over 10%, providing strong support for the overall growth of the auto market. New energy vehicles continued to grow rapidly, with their market share continuously increasing, leading the industry to accelerate its transformation and upgrading.

Looking ahead to the second half of the year, the "two new" policies will continue to be implemented in an orderly manner. Coupled with the continuous enrichment of new products supplied by enterprises, this will help drive the sustained growth of auto consumption, and the auto industry will maintain a healthy and stable operation.
